About Us

Vital Aid Health Organization (VAHO) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established to address the critical need of improving health and well-being of individuals and communities. Our purpose is to:

1. Address Health Disparities

Health disparities refer to the differences in health outcomes and access to health care services between different groups of people. These disparities can be based on factors such as race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and geography. VAHO aims to identify and address health disparities by conducting research to identify the most pressing health concerns in communities, and then using these information to develop targeted interventions and programs to address these issues. This can help to reduce health disparities and improve health outcomes for the individuals and communities as a whole.

2. Fill Gaps In Healthcare services

VAHO aims to help fill gaps in health care services that are not being addressed by government or other organizations. Our focus is to provide specialized health care services and support that are not available through government-funded programs or private health care providers to marginalized communities that do not have access to these health care services.

3. Promote Health Education and Awareness

VAHO exists to provide information and resources to help individuals and communities understand how to maintain their health, and how to access health care services when needed. This can help to prevent health issues from developing in the first place and help individuals to understand how to manage health conditions if they do occur. Our Health education and awareness campaigns is to help reduce the misconceptions and myths about health and health care services and encourage individuals to seek care when needed.

4. Promote Sustainable Development with Communities

By working with communities to understand their needs and build on their strengths, VAHO seeks to help build more resilient communities that are better able to cope with health and other challenges. We want to promote sustainable development by working with communities to create health systems that are sustainable and can continue to provide services even after VAHO is no longer present. This can help to ensure that health services continue to be available to individuals and communities, even in the face of adversity.

5. Advocate for Policy Change

We aim to work as a catalyst for change and advocate for policy change, funding and research to better address health related issues. Leveraging on the wealth of knowledge and experience of our staff, partners and volunteers, VAHO seeks to bring attention to health issues and to advocate for policy changes that will improve health outcomes for individuals and communities.
